What is a Porcelain Veneer?

In the following educational dental video, Dr. Douglas Hamill explains how porcelain veneers are used to rejuvenate and brighten your smile.

So the difference between just bonding and a porcelain veneer is the veneer is made in a lab versus bonding, which is just done directly by hand. And an impression is taken, or a scan is taken of the tooth and it’s sent away and then it’s bonded to the tooth when it comes back in one piece.
